How to adopt a kitten from us
​
Our goal here at Blueberry Brits, is to produce happy, healthy and beautiful British Shorthair/Longhair kittens with wonderful temperaments. We do health testing on all of our breeding cats, and take extra measures to promote the health and well being of our kittens. All of our kittens are raised in our home, as part of our family, to ensure lots of care, attention, and the best socialization and interaction possible. And don’t forget lots and lots of love!! Our kittens receive proper vet care, and are up to date on all of their vaccinations, micro-chipped for permanent identification, and spayed/neutered before leaving for their forever home. We believe that British Shorthairs are ideal companion pets and we strive to produce kittens that will be a wonderful addition to your family.

If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoptive family to purchase one of our British Shorthair/Longhair kittens, please submit our application.
Once your application is received, we will review it for approval, and once approved you will be informed of any immediate availability or may be placed on a waiting list for an upcoming litter of kittens.

If you decide to buy two as siblings we offer a sibling discount of $500.
We require a $500 deposit to join our waitlist and reserve your kitten. The deposit is non refundable but may be moved to a future litter if necessary. ​
Our kitten pricing reflects the amount of time, care, and money that is invested by us to ensure the health and quality of our Brits.
Because we stand behind the quality of our kittens and breeding practices, all of our kittens come with a 3 year genetic health guarantee.
Our kittens are all spayed or neutered, examined by a licensed veterinarian, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments before joining their new homes.
Our breeding adults are all genetically tested to ensure that we are breeding the healthiest cats possible. All of our cats and kittens are provided quality nutrition through a high quality diet.

Retired Adult:
$1,500
We may have adult British Shorthairs available periodically after they have retired from our breeding program. These cats are extremely special to us, and still have many healthy years ahead of them!! They are spayed or neutered before being placed as pets and we are very selective about finding the perfect forever homes for our beloved retirees!

Breeding Quality Prospect Kitten:
We are not offering any kittens with breeding rights at this time.
visitation policy
We are a closed cattery. In order to protect and prioritize the health of our cats and kittens, we do not allow visitation.
Because our cats live with us at our private family residence, I also want to respect the peace and privacy of our family members.
